He’s already with us!
I am reading Heaven is for Real out loud to our kids. Last night we were reading about how hard it hit Colton’s father to think that his son had died, but Jesus had sent Colton back because of his father’s prayers, begging for his son’s life to be spared.
Penny asked, “What does it mean to die?” (In what I took as a nervous tone.)
I explained that we don’t have anything to worry about if we have asked Jesus to forgive us of our sins, to come into our heart, and to be our Savior. Then when we die, we will get to go to heaven to be with God and Jesus.
Penny piped up right away, “He’s already with us!” Out of the mouths of babes! ??
Well at least she gets it! ? “No fear in life, no fear in death, this is the power of Christ in me.”
