Adeline is taking her first swim lessons at the Zale’s through the YMCA’s backyard swim program. The first 3 days she cried for the entire lesson, but had also started asking to swim to me without an flotation device, after the lesson. By the 4th day she was not crying and even jumping in from the side. We have one more day of lessons after 7 days. Adeline has come so far with her swimming this summer, from wearing the lifejacket and being nervous to get in, to telling mom to “go out there so I can swim to you. “
